Keynote Speakers

Early Childhood Ireland’s ‘Early Childhood Research Day 2020’, will take place on Friday, 3rd April 2020 in Croke Park, Dublin. It promises to be an exciting opportunity for students, practitioners, and researchers to present their research findings.
This full-day event includes an opening keynote address from Dr Verity Campbell-Barr, University of Plymouth, UK on child-centred practice for children under 3. We also have a keynote address from Adrijana Višnjić Jevtić, PhD, Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb, Croatia on quality transitions from preschool to primary. Participants will have access to a range of research presentations, poster presentations, and self-organised symposia.

This full-day event includes:

An opening keynote address from Dr Verity Campbell-Barr, University of Plymouth, UK on child-centred practice for children under 3
A keynote address from Dr Adrijana Višnjić Jevtić, Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb, Croatia on quality transitions from preschool to primary
A tailored masterclass delivered by independent research consultant Breandán Ó Caoimh, on writing a paper for publication in a conference proceedings report or journal.

All conference presenters will have the opportunity to submit a paper based on their presentation for consideration in our second Research Conference Proceedings publication.
All submitted research abstracts will be subject to review by our Scientific Committee to ensure continued quality and scientific integrity. Click here to find out who sits on our Scientific Committee
