Frequently Asked Questions – Early Childhood Ireland’s National Early Childhood Research Conference 2020

We will consider all research proposals (Early Learning & Care research) from 3rd level students, early years practitioner researchers, academic institutions, organisations and individuals. Research proposals should focus on some aspect of early childhood care and education and fit under one of the 7 strands of the conference themes. Click here to view strands….

Yes, sharing your research with others benefits everyone, particularly in the early learning and care sector where much research is focused on practice and on identifying ways to enhance practice.

While you may share your research topics, etc. among your class peers, this is an opportunity to share more widely, and to see what students from other colleges are researching (building knowledge).  This is also an opportunity for your research to ‘come to life’ rather than just be assessment-focused.

You may submit an (individual/group) paper (oral) research proposal, or a poster presentation (group/individual) or a paper (oral) for a self-organised symposium.

You may submit no more than 2 research proposals at a time
